A consultation into changes to the admissions criteria was undertaken in the Autumn term 2025, regarding changes to come into effect from September 2027 onwards. The outcome of the consultation and resultant decisions can be seen below.

|
Applications for Year 7 will open in September, just after your child has started in Year 6. Applications usually close in November, and you will hear whether or not your child has been offered a place at Marple Hall in March.

If you have anything you wish to discuss with us regarding your child’s transfer, please email our transition email in the first instance – transition@marplehall.stockport.sch.uk with any queries/concerns.
Please be aware this inbox is only active from the offer day ( beginning of March ) until mid September, and during this time is checked weekdays between 8am and 4pm.

Once your child has been offered a place we correspond with prospective parents directly regarding transition. A copy of all relevant information is posted on this page.
