Joe joined Marple Hall School in 2009 having first worked at a school in West Yorkshire. As headteacher his role is to ensure that the school delivers a great education to all students, and that all members of staff are well supported and empowered. Read More
Rhian began working at Marple Hall School in 2004, initially as a teacher of maths. As one of the Deputy Headteachers, her role is to support the Headteacher with key leadership and management matters. Rhian’s work is mainly focused on the development, implementation and quality assurance of the curriculum. Read More
Claire joined MHS in 2002 from a school in Cheshire. She has contributed to our school through various roles such as Head of Transition, Head of Year and Assistant Headteacher before becoming Deputy Headteacher. Her main role is the day to day leadership and management of the school community. Read More
Colin has been Deputy Headteacher at Marple Hall School since 2012. He is now Head of Provision, a role which involves two overarching responsibilities: the quality assurance of teaching and learning across the school and the day to day leadership and management of all staff. Read More
Bryony joined Marple Hall School in 2014 from the Pendlebury Centre, an outstanding Pupil Referral Unit in Stockport. She has had many roles in school, starting as Behaviour and Emotional Support in the Flexible Learning Area, the first non-teaching Head of Year and the first non-teaching Assistant Headteacher. Laurence joined Marple Hall School in 1997, having first worked at another Stockport school. As an Assistant Headteacher in charge of the English Faculty, his role is to ensure that a cohesive and innovative English curriculum with clear and challenging learning intentions is in place across all five year groups.
