Spark Day is a totally unique day in the school calendar, bringing together sports and the creative arts and celebrating our commitment to inclusivity and diversity.
Featuring a day of events including a traditional and ‘retro’ sports day, art and drama projects, musical performances and a range of stalls organised by students in different forms, Spark Day brings with it a fun and exciting end to the school year for students and staff.
Money raised from projects and events on the day are split between local charities and the school, where it is used to enhance the offer of fun and exciting extra-curricular opportunities for our students.
In 2018, Spark Day raised over £2200
In 2019, Spark Day raised over £2600
In 2020, the Spark team had all intentions to make Spark Day 2020 even bigger and better than the previous. Spark Day 2020 saw a series of fun and entertaining P.E activities, a selection of creative projects and the introduction of the MHS Taskmaster, all from our own homes.
