We believe that a school is about the people, not buildings. However, we are proud of our facilities and believe that recently we have greatly improved the environment for learning at Marple Hall School.
We are committed to letting various parts of the school premises (e.g. halls, classrooms, sports hall etc) and to maximise the income received from these lettings for the benefit of the school and its students.
We aim to:

Our sports facilities ensure our students and the wider community have access to a wide range of sporting and recreational activities. The facilities include a Sports Hall, 3G Pitch, MUGA Pitch, Gymnasium, Netball/Tennis Courts and Grass Pitches. The extensive facilities are managed and maintained by Marple Hall School and are utilised by the school community during the working day and then open to the wider community during evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Our specialised drama block consists of two studios with high-tech lighting and sound systems and blackout facilities that allow the spaces to be converted into mini- theatres. The cycloramic wall provides a large screen for ‘cinema style’ clips of film or theatre.
Each year we produce a large-scale school production. We work alongside Music, Art and Dance to provide a truly ‘whole school production’. Annually around one hundred students are involved with singing, acting, dancing or playing in the band. Backstage, students are invited to assist with make-up, props, set painting, lighting or sound.
Our Learning Resource Centre is a centre of learning for the whole school. It comprises of a well-equipped library and state of the art ICT facilities. It is always a hub of activity during break and lunchtimes, giving students the opportunity to enrich their learning, and it is well used by departments during the school day. Students are also encouraged to volunteer as a Student Librarian giving them a sense of responsibility and belonging, promoting their role as a citizen in the school community.
When buying books, we support local book shops including Simply Books in Bramhall.
