The Hub

The Hub is a centre of learning and reading for life for the whole school. It comprises a well-equipped library and computers. It is always a hive of activity during break and lunchtimes. Students are able to enjoy having access to a safe place, to read, play board games or just sit with friends.

The Hub is open for students before school from 7:30a.m, at break, lunchtime and after school on Tuesday and Thursday. We have a wide range of fiction and nonfiction books for students to borrow.

When buying books, we try to get the latest popular fiction and nonfiction, as requested by our students, as well as multiple copies of the books on our 16 before 16 reading challenge.

The Hub is used by KS3 English classes for reading and group discussion lessons.
