Literacy Provision

The above infographic details the various reading and vocabulary pathways at MHS. We will operate a similar model in forthcoming years (subject to cohort needs). All students will undertake a reading test during the first term in years 7, 8 and 9. Following this, if necessary, we will assign students a literacy programme that will enable them to increase their reading ability, vocabulary awareness, or cultural literacy.
