Marianne joined Marple Hall School in August 2026 and previously worked in the public sector (local authority and NHS) for over 20 years, making the move to education 8 years ago working as a School Business Manager, Finance Manager and Chief Finance Officer in schools and Trusts in Stoke-on-Trent. Marianne is responsible for the strategic management of the Trust and school’s finances and business operations and works closely with the Headteacher, Trustees and governing body to make sure that the school and Trust are compliant in all statutory areas and ensure that the schools provide the best education possible for their students.
