Extra-Curricular Programme – Autumn 2026

We are delighted to launch our Autumn 2026 Extra-Curricular (EC) Programme, packed with exciting opportunities for every student to get involved, develop new skills, discover new passions and make the most of life beyond the classroom.

With a fantastic range of lunchtime and after-school clubs on offer, there is something for everyone. Whether you’re interested in the arts, music, reading, debate, games, academic enrichment, leadership or simply trying something new, our EC programme provides the perfect opportunity to get involved and become part of our vibrant school community.

Our EC page can be found here, it is updated termly.

Below are Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about the EC programme.

Do I need to sign up for clubs?

For most clubs, no sign-up is required. Simply turn up at the room and time listed on the timetable and get involved.

What if a club says “Invite Only”?

If a club is listed as Invite Only and you would like to take part, please speak to your Head of Year, who will be happy to discuss opportunities with you.

How do I access The Hub at lunchtime?

Students wishing to attend The Hub at lunchtime must collect a Hub Pass during break time.

What about sports clubs?

Sports clubs and fixtures operate on a separate timetable as activities can change from week to week. Please check the latest Sports and Fixtures Timetable for details of training sessions and competitions.

What if I can’t attend a club?

Students can still complete their EC through a Digital Discovery, allowing them to engage with extra-curricular activities online.

Why Get Involved?

At Marple Hall School, extra-curricular involvement is an important part of school life. We encourage every student to take advantage of the wide range of opportunities available and make participation a regular part of their school experience.
There are also prizes, rewards and recognition available for students who actively participate in the EC programme throughout the year. So why not challenge yourself, meet new people, learn a new skill or pursue an existing passion? There has never been a better time to get involved.

Get involved. Get rewarded. Make Autumn 2026 your best term yet!
