Bus Industrial Action Update

Please see further customer update regarding train ticket acceptance from Transport For Greater Manchester.

If you have a bus ticket or concessionary pass you can use it to travel on Northern Rail and TransPennine Express trains during the impacted period (Friday to Monday).  

This includes:
• Any bus tickets loaded to a smart card  
• All bus (and bus & tram) period tickets (7-day, 28-day and term Annual)  
• Concessionary passes including Our Pass and Care Leaver  
• The older persons passes with or without the add on Tram & Train will be accepted on these services after 9.30am (Monday & Friday) and all-day Saturday and Sunday  

Please note this is in addition to already agreed ticket acceptance on tram. If you have a bus ticket or concessionary pass you can use it to travel on the Metrolink during the impacted period (Friday to Monday).
