Bus passengers are being urged to plan their journey ahead of industrial action expected to take place this week (Friday 19 – Monday 22 September inclusive) by some operator staff in Greater Manchester. You can find out more from the press release HERE.
Based on our current information, there will be services which transport pupils to and from school that will be operating as normal, however others are likely to be impacted by the strike action, so pupils will need to find alternative way to get to school.
MHS bus services expected to operate as normal:
801 | Bredbury – Romiley – Marple Hall School |
806 | Lower Bredbury – Romiley – Compstall – Marple Hall School |
MHS bus services which are not expected to operate:
802 | Hazel Grove – Mellor – Marple Hall School |
808 | Lane Ends – Marple Hall School |
844 | Stockport – Bosden Farm – Marple Hall School |
This information is as up to date as possible, however we do strongly advise to visit TfGM’s dedicated webpage www.beenetwork.com/bus-industrial-action for updates on all affected bus services (including schools).
